A Day at 30A!

Hey Hey!

Just want to quickly share with you the magic that is 30A, in case you ever get a chance to go! If you're not familiar (which I wasn't until yesterday), 30A is a scenic gulf-front beach highway that stretches along the Emerald Coast.

So yesterday, my friend and I were just sitting around in Pensacola when she asked if I wanted to go check out Seaside. So grateful she thought to do this! We got ready, got coffee, and headed in the coop to check it out.

It was about a 1.5 hour drive and it was soooo beautiful! I love any chance to just talk about life, jam to some new music, and be by the water - so honestly I wouldn't have cared if the drive was 5 hours.

When we got to Seaside - it was pretty obvious what we needed to do first. Five Daughters. Y'all.. if you've been following for a little bit - you KNOW my LOVE for these 100 layer doughnuts. I even wrote a whole post about it in August. Let's just say the Seaside location did NOT disappoint. It's even in the cutest little airstream, which I know I'll have to paint next (to go with the Nashville Five Daughters painting!).

Anywhoooo - so we got the doughnut, and it was magical. I would 10/10 suggest these to anyone!!

Then we spent the rest of the day just checking out the fun little shops. There are so many cute art galleries and a really awesome bookstore! Again. 10/10 would recommend.

Don't even get me started on the beach. It was like a movie. Seriously, the skies looked like cotton candy and the sand was soooo white.

After checking out the beach, we decided to stop in Bud & Alley's Pizza Bar, which AGAIN - 10/10 recommend. We split the brussel sprouts which were incredible and I got introduced to the amazing creation that is 30A beer. So. Good.

We chilled here for awhile and made friends with some locals along with some people on vacation. Everyone was so nice!!

I already can't wait to go back. So grateful for days like these, and I like to think of them as a reminder to not always have a jammed-packed schedule. Sometimes it's just so nice to see where the day takes you and have no plans!

I hope you get a chance to go someday, and maybe check out some of these fun places! If you've been and have any other suggestions, I'd love to hear them for the next time we go back!
